How to wire the Honeywell Digital Thermostat T6861?

As the most classical thermostat model among the Honeywell product range: Halo T6861 thermostat series and T6865 modulating thermostat series still have good demand in the market.

If you are an electric engineer or a HVAC installer, you may easily understand how to wiring the thermostat after reading the technical manual. However, if you are new comer in HVAC, you may still be confused even you have read the manual carefully, thus you need a professional thermostat supplier like Hotowell, who not only provide good thermostats to you but also can guide you how to wring the digital thermostat.

When you already got T6861 thermostat from Hotowell, and don’t know how to wiring the thermostat.

1.      Please open the thermostat box, you will find the T6861 thermostat come with 2 parts, the display part and the relay with 12 terminals.

2.      Wiring the terminals with the relative cables.

There will be 4 applications that the T6861 thermostat could match:

Application 1: 2 pipes heat only

Application 2: 2 pipes Cool only

Application 3: 2 pipes 1 stage Heat or 1 stage Cool
  

Application 4: 4 pipes 1stage Heat and 1 stage Cool

3. After you wiring the terminals with relative cables, now you can put the plug on the relay part to the thermostat display part as below:

4.      Put the relay part on the electric box and install the thermostat on the electric box
