How to choose a suitable fan coil thermostat?

Matters needing attention in the selection of thermostat:

1. The output control power of the thermostat: The output control power of the thermostat is the first issue to be considered when choosing a thermostat, which is related to the safety and stability of use. If it is selected incorrectly, it may cause serious consequences, such as a fire. The thermostat products are marked with output control voltage and current, and the output control power can be obtained by multiplying the output control voltage and current.

The operating power of the controlled equipment must be less than the output control power of the thermostat. Otherwise, the thermostat will be damaged, and a serious fire may occur!

2. The choice of thermostat input and output voltage: Some brands of thermostats support multi-voltage input central air-conditioning thermostats. First of all, ensure that the input voltage is consistent with the allowable input voltage.

There is another point that needs to be raised, that is, some thermostats do not support them on and off of DC power, or the DC voltage that can be turned on and off is small. When buying a thermostat, please consult with the merchant to avoid unnecessary trouble.

3. Requirements for the accuracy of the thermostat: When selecting the thermostat, the accuracy of the thermostat must also be considered.

At the same time, locate the position of the thermostat according to the air control requirements in the same space where the central air conditioner is configured. In order to achieve one thermostat to control multiple air conditioning fan coils, a control box must be configured. The control box can be placed on the ceiling near the thermostat. On the top, for the convenience of maintenance, an inspection port can be set at the position where the control box is placed.

By adding the relay conversion in the control box to control the motors and pipeline solenoid valves of multiple fan coils, when the thermostat starts the low gear, the fan coil and the solenoid valve will operate at the same time through the control box RH and RV conversion. The same is true for the middle gear and the high gear. To achieve the purpose of one thermostat to control multiple fan coils, in order to accurately sense the temperature in the space, but the temperature sensing element in the center of the room and pass it to the thermostat through the cable. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to loosen the screws on the thermostat, and remove the lower case.

Connect the power cord and make sure to wire it correctly according to the wiring diagram.

Use the provided screws to fix the bottom plate of the thermostat on the wall, and then buckle the cover onto the bottom plate.
